Verify identity, protect content
A normal email is comparable to a postcard: the sender can be claimed and the content is readable in transit. S/MIME changes this with two functions.
Digital signature
The signature proves that the message came from you and was not altered in transit. Recipients see a corresponding symbol in their mail client.
Encryption
The content is encrypted so that only the recipient can read it. This is particularly relevant for HR, financial or client data.
Requirement
For encryption both sides need a certificate and the corresponding public key. We support application, distribution and setup in Outlook and other mail clients.

For individuals with their own responsibility.
Setup
Import into Outlook, Thunderbird and mobile devices.
S/MIME and public authorities
Communication with authorities and certain sectors requires qualified certificates. We check which type is necessary.
